'Wickline Cherry'

Lycopersicon lycopersicum SOLANACEAE
85 days. (indeterminate) [Introduced in 1991 by SESE.] 'Wickline Cherry' is an heirloom cherry tomato from Pennsylvania with a beefsteak-like flavor unique for a cherry tomato. The pink-red fruits measure 1" x 1-1/2" and are borne in clusters of four. The well-branched plants are tall, productive, and tolerant of cool, wet conditions, and bear late into the season. The meaty fruits have a well-balanced flavor. Fruits hold well in storage. Recommended for salads and market growers in the South where pink-red tomatoes are preferred.
